GIDIMT'EN LAND DEFENDERS
$500 has been raised in support of land defenders at Gidimt’en Checkpoint. This money goes toward legal fees, supplies, and other costs related to maintaining presence on the land.
LIKHT'SAMISYU CLAN
$800 has been raised in support of the Likht’samisyu, one of several clans defending unceded Wet’suwet’en territories in so-called British Columbia. In addition to dealing with the continued invasion of RCMP and Coastal Gaslink employees, the Likht’samisyu are working toward building more structures on their land, including a climate research centre and an art space.
THE P4W MEMORIAL COLLECTIVE
$350 has been raised in support of the P4W Memorial Collective, a group of ex-prisoners who are working towards the creation of a permanent memorial garden and community space on the grounds of the now-closed Prison for Women (P4W) in Kingston/Katarokwi, Ontario.
KANIENKEHAKA LAND BACK LANGUAGE CAMP
$230 has been raised in support of the Kanienkehaka Land Back Language Camp, a family-led project to reclaim unceded territory and teach the Kanienkehaka language to children through land-based learning.
TYENDINAGA LAND DEFENDERS LEGAL DEFENSE
$250 has been raised in support of the legal defense of Tyendinaga land defenders who spent much of 2020 supporting Wet’suwet’en land defenders through direct action.
